星期五下午，凯西和我跳上公共汽车，七月四日前往波士顿......

We got into the city around 6:30, got settled into our airbnb and enjoyed a glass of wine on the roof deck before heading tosilvertone.for dinner, which is an old favorite. Then on Saturday we spent the whole day walking around the city seeing every historical site you could think of, which was so interesting. His sister actually created specific notecards for our walking tour (26 to be exact!) and had perfectly timed pub stops for when we needed a beer and a snack break.

On Monday we headed back to the city intending to hang with friends and watch the fireworks, but by the time we got home we were so beat that we decided to stay in with the cat and watch a movie. I know, I know! But it was pretty wet and rainy in New York so I was sort of happy to be inside just relaxing. I heard the fireworks go off and watched them on other people’s Snapchats haha. All in all, it was a great weekend and even though we didn’t watch the fireworks in person, I felt pretty patriotic with all the history we took in while in Boston.
