We arrived in New Mexico yesterday in the late afternoon, hopped in a rental car and made our way to Santa Fe. After settling into our cute little B&B, we drove into town to explore the main downtown Plaza area. The light was so beautiful and it was the perfect temperature outside.
After walking around a bit and checking out the shops, we headed to dinner atTomasita’sfor some classic Northern New Mexico cuisine. We had yummy crisp beef tacos, blue corn chicken enchiladas andsopaipillas, which I had never had but really enjoyed. Everything was so good!
Afterward, we hung out in our suite and played a few hands of Rummy before heading to bed. All in all, it was a great day and I am so excited to explore more tomorrow!
